About IOCSS Membership

The International Organization for Comparative Social Sciences (IOCSS) welcomes researchers, policy analysts, graduate students, and practitioners interested in comparative political economy, development studies, human rights, and related fields.

Membership Categories

Academic Members: For university faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and advanced doctoral students. Benefits include full access to IOCSS working papers and policy briefs, priority invitations to workshops and conferences, eligibility to submit research for IOCSS publication, and listing in the IOCSS researcher directory.

Student Members: For undergraduate and master students. Benefits include access to IOCSS publications and curated reading lists, invitations to IOCSS public events and webinars, and mentorship opportunities with affiliated researchers.

Policy and Practice Members: For government officials, NGO staff, journalists, and practitioners. Benefits include access to policy briefs, invitations to policy-focused events, and opportunities for applied research collaboration.


Research Collaboration

IOCSS actively seeks collaborative research partnerships with universities and research institutes in the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Africa, and Europe; policy research organizations working on development and democracy; and civil society organizations engaged in advocacy related to IOCSS research themes.
